Beef lasanga recipe

Beef lasagna is a delicious Italian dish made with layers of lasagna noodles, seasoned ground beef, marinara sauce, and creamy cheese sauce. It’s typically baked until bubbly and golden brown on top.

Ingredients:  (Beef lasanga)

-Water as required

-Namak (Salt) 1 tbs

-Mario’s Pasta Lasagne 12-16 sheets

Prepare White sauce:

-Cooking oil 1-2 tbs

-Maida (All-purpose flour) 2 & ½ tbs

-Doodh (Milk) 2 Cups

-Cream ½ Cup

– (Black pepper powder) ½ tsp

-Lehsan powder (Garlic powder) ½ tsp

-Dried oregano 1 tsp

-Namak (Salt) ½ tsp or to taste

Prepare Red Sauce with Mince:

-Cooking oil 2-3 tbs

-Pyaz (White onion) chopped 1 medium

-Lehsan (Garlic) chopped 1 tbs

-Qeema (Mince) Beef 500g (lean)

-Namak (Salt) ½ tsp or to taste

-(Black pepper powder) ½ tsp

-Lal mirch (Red chilli) crushed 1 tsp

-Dried oregano ½ tsp

-Tomato paste 2 tbs

-Tamatar (Tomatoes) pureed 5 medium (approx. 2 Cups)

-Water ¼ Cup

-Fresh basil leaves chopped 10-12


-Cheddar cheese grated

-Mozzarella cheese grated

-Dried oregano

-Lal mirch (Red chilli) crushed

-Fresh parsley chopped


Directions for Beef lasanga

-In a pot,add,water,salt,mix well & bring it to boil.

-Add the mario’s pasta,lasagna and boil it until for 5-7 minutes then strain & rinse with tap water & set aside.

Prepare White Sauce:  (Beef lasanga)

-In a saucepan,add cooking oil,all-purpose flour & mix well for 30 seconds.

-Add milk,whisk well & cook for 2-3 minutes.

-Turn off the flame, and add cream & whisk it well.

-Turn on the flame,add black pepper powder,&garlic powder,&dried oregano,salt & whisk it well.

-Let it cool.

Prepare Red Sauce with Mince: 

-In a saucepan,add cooking oil, and,onion,garlic,mix it well & sauté until translucent.      (Beef lasanga recipe)

-Add beef mince & mix well until it changes color.

-Add salt,black pepper powder,red chilli crushed,dried oregano,tomato paste,mix well & cook for 2-3 minutes.

-Add pureed tomatoes and mix well.

-Add water,fresh basil leaves & mix well,cover & cook on low flame for 14-15 minutes then cook on high flame until oil separates.

-In 9 x 9 inch baking dish,add & spread red sauce,place boiled lasagna sheets,red sauce,white sauce, cheddar cheese,mozzarella cheese,lasagna sheets,red sauce,white sauce,cheddar cheese,mozzarella cheese,lasagna sheets,red sauce,white sauce,cheddar cheese,mozzarella cheese,dried oregano & red chilli crushed.

-Bake in preheated oven at 180C for 20-25 minutes or until cheese melts.

-Sprinkle fresh parsley & serve!

Choose the right noodles: Use oven-ready lasagna noodles to save time and hassle, or if using regular noodles, make sure to cook them al dente beforehand.

Season your beef: Brown your ground beef with onions, garlic, and Italian seasoning for maximum flavor.

Layer properly: Start with a thin layer of sauce on the bottom of your baking dish to prevent sticking, then layer noodles, meat sauce, ricotta or cottage cheese mixture, and shredded mozzarella cheese. Repeat until all ingredients are used, ending with a layer of cheese on top.

Don’t forget the cheese: Be generous with your cheese layers for that gooey, melty goodness. A combination of mozzarella, Parmesan, and ricotta or cottage cheese works well.
