Which (delicious cake )made by all purpose flour maida,eggs , sunflower oil, vanilla essence, warm milk, baking soda,honey …..

Ingredients: you’ll need for honey cake

3 eggs 

1 cup of powdered sugar 

125/ 1/2 cup of sunflower oil

1 & ½ tsp vanilla essence

 225 grams / 2 cups of all purpose maida flour

½ cup of warm milk 

1&½ tsp of baking soda

⅓ cup of honey

Mixed fruit jam 

Red food colour (optional)

 Desiccated Coconut powder 


Instruments you’ll need



8 inch baking pan, parchment paper,knife,

Instructions :  step by step  (cake)!


•Break 3 eggs in to a bowl

•whisk it for 30 seconds 

•Add 200 grams / 1 cup of powdered sugar 

•whisk until mixture turns to pale yellow colour 

•Add 125/ 1/2 cup of sunflower oil 

•Add 1 & ½ tsp vanilla essence 

• mix for few seconds 

•Add 225 grams / 2 cups of all purpose maida flour 

•Add 1&½ tsp of baking soda 

  (Sift in to wet ingredients)

•gently mix it in cut and fold method 

•Add 125ml /1/2 cup of warm milk 

• gently mix it with out lumps

•Take a 8 inch baking pan grease it with oil and line with parchment paper 

•pour this batter in to mould

• gently tap it twice 

•preheat oven at 180° degrees Celsius for 10 mins 

• bake for 35-40 mins at 180° degree Celsius

•Meanwhile take 350 ml of water 

•add ⅓ cup of sugar 

• boil until sugar dissolves completely 

• switch off the flame 

•add ⅓ cup of honey 

• add pinch of red food colour (optional) 

      Mix it well 

•let it cool completely 

•now our cake is baked

insert a skewer,if it’s come out clean your cake is done 

If it’s not done bake it for another sometime 

•let it cool completely 

loosen the edges remove from baking pan 

•Add 4 tablespoon of mixed fruit jam into a sauce pan 

• melt it on low flame 

•now keep this a side 

•now cut the sides level the top

• pour the melted jam in top spread it evenly 

• cut into a pieces

• take each piece gently 

• gently dip it in honey syrup from four sides 

• coat it with desiccated coconut

• decorate with whipped cream 

         Ready to serve
