Fresh Herbs: If possible, use fresh basil and oregano for a burst of aromatic freshness.
Balancing Acidity: Counteract the acidity of tomatoes with a pinch of sugar or a splash of balsamic vinegar.
Slow Simmering: Allow the sauce to simmer on low heat for a longer time to deepen the flavors.
Cheese Integration: Mix in a bit of pasta cooking water to the sauce before tossing with pasta; it helps the sauce adhere better.
Texture Variation: Add diced tomatoes or cherry tomatoes towards the end for a chunkier texture.
Spice Control: Control the heat with red pepper flakes, adjusting to your preferred spice level.
Experiment: Feel free to experiment with ingredients like olives, capers, or even a touch of red wine for extra complexity.
Garnish Wisely: Finish with a drizzle of high-quality olive oil and a sprinkle of fresh herbs for a restaurant-worthy touch.
