:8 pork sausages

225g (1 1/2 cups) all-purpose flour

4 large eggs

300ml (1 1/4 cups) whole milk

Salt and pepper to taste

2 tablespoons vegetable oil

Instructions of making toad in the hole

Preheat your oven to 220°C (425°F).

Place the sausages in a baking dish and drizzle with 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil.

Roast them in the preheated oven for about 15 minutes until they start to brown.

While the sausages are cooking, make the batter.

In a bowl, whisk together the flour, eggs, and milk until you have a smooth batter.

Season with salt and pepper.Once the sausages are browned, pour the batter over them in the baking dish.

Put the dish back into the oven and bake for 25-30 minutes or until the batter is risen and golden brown.
