Apollo fish recipe 

 

Apollo fish is a fish fry recipe which is popular in Andhra Pradesh & Hyderabad restaurants popular appetizers made with boneless fish, spices, masalas curry leaves,

 

This spicy, hot and flavoured Apollo fish is simply delicious and it also served as side in Indian meal

 

 

Preparation time : 30 minutes Cooking time : 20 minutes 
Total time : 50 minutes Servings : 3

 

Ingredients  

 

  • 350 grams of boneless fish cute into cubes
  • 1 tsp of ginger garlic paste
  • 1 tsp of chilli powder 
  • ½ tsp of pepper powder 
  • ¼ tsp of turmeric powder 
  • 1 tsp of salt 
  • 1 tsp of lemon juice 
  • 3 tbsp of corn flour ( corn starch)
  • Oil for deep fry
  • 3 tbsp of maida (all purpose flour)

 

 

For Marination & seasoning 

 

  • 2 tbsp of oil 
  • 1 tbsp of chopped garlic 
  • 1 tbsp of finelly chopped ginger 
  • ½ tsp of pepper powder 
  • 1 tsp of kashmiri chilli powder or red chilli paste 
  • 1 tsp of lemon juice
  • some chopped coriander leaves
  • 2 tsp of soya sauce
  • 2 green chillies,2 strings of curry leaves 
  • 1 tbsp of red chilli sauce

  • Take 350 grams of boneless fish cute into cubes
  • Add 1 tsp of ginger garlic paste
  • 1 tsp of chilli powder 
  • ½ tsp of pepper powder 
  • ¼ tsp of turmeric powder 
  • 1 tsp of salt 
  • 1 tsp of lemon juice 
  • Mix it well 
  • Add 3 tbsp of corn flour ( corn starch)
  • 3 tbsp of maida (all purpose flour)
  • Mix it well.
  • If needed add some water mix it well 
  •  Drop them into a hot oil pan 
  • Do not disturb for the first 30 seconds 
  • Fry until they turn crispy on both sides 
  • Now they are done 

 

 

  • Take them into a plate 
  • Into a pan add 2 tbsp of oil in which we have fried fish 
  • Add 1 tbsp of chopped garlic 
  • 1 tbsp of finelly chopped ginger 
  • Saute until garlic turns into light brown colour 
  • Add 2 green chillies,2 strings of curry leaves 
  • Saute for few seconds 
  • Add 2 tsp of soya sauce 
  • 1 tbsp of red chilli sauce 
  • ½ tsp of pepper powder 
  • 1 tsp of kashmiri chilli powder or red chilli paste 
  • Saute for few seconds on medium heat 
  • Add 3 tbsp of water 
  • Give it a nice stir 
  • When it turns little thick in consistency 
  • Add fried fish 
  • Toss them on high heat 
  • Now add 1 tsp of lemon juice 
  • Stir it well 
  • Add some chopped
  • coriander leaves 
  • Stir and toss them well 
  • Turn off the heat
