Parotta recipe
Parota is a type of Indian flatbread commonly served in South Asian countries
Parota is also known as` paratha ‘ which is made by maida / all purpose flour and serve with potatoes curry, vegetables, and non veg , with yogurt, butter, pickles

Ingredients (parotta recipe)
- Maida :3 cups /350 grams
- Salt :½ tsp
- Warm milk 1 and ¼ cup or as needed
- Oil as needed
- Sugar ½ tbsp
- Egg 1
Directions
- Take 3 cups of maida all purpose flour
- Add ½ tsp salt
- Add ½ tbsp of sugar
- Mix it well
- Add 2 tbsp of cooking oil
- Mix and rub oil with flour
- Now add an egg
- Gradually add 1 cup of warm milk
- Mix it well
- Add some more milk if you needed
- Make a sticky dough and knead it for 5 minutes
- Smooth and soft dough
- Add 1 tbsp of oil and mix it well
- Apply 1 to 2 tbsp of oil
- Cover and rest it for 30 mins
- After 30 mins
- Mix it well
- Divide into 6 equal portions and apply some oil
- Apply oil on clean surface
- Flatten the dough
- Roll it into a thin sheets
- Drizzle 2 tsps of oil and spread it evenly
- Fold from sides
- Start to roll
- Tuck the ends and stuff inside
- Now just flatten them with your hands
- Place them on hot tawa by adding 2 tbsp of oil
- Cook on low to medium heat for 2 minutes each sides
- Turn on other sides ,roast until golden colour on both sides
- Now perfectly cooked
- Tsp the sides to fluff up the parota
- Serve hot with veg and non veg curries
